I made it home - like I said I am right down the street from work (approx. 2 miles). Watching the news, I'm not sure that I'll be leaving anytime soon. Looks to be a few more major storms crossing 75 (which I don't want to drive through) so I think I'll chill here for at least another hour before I try to leave. I'm sure the Interstate is a mess right now anyway.
I used to live near this neighborhood - in all the time we lived there, it NEVER flooded. They say this is the fourth wettest day on record in Tampa!!!
It started raining again a few minutes ago - not hard like it was, so hopefully it will stop soon. I'm going to go pack my bags and see if I can scrounge up something to eat.
